Home made chicken broth for kao piak sen.
Wash the chicken and place in a pot filled with water
Cover the pot and bring to a boil.
Add the chicken broth mix, thin soy sauce and cilantro stems and lower to a simmer.
Cook for 1 hour or until the chicken easily falls off the bone.
Remove the chicken and let it cool.
Pull the chicken from the bones and tear it into small pieces. Serve with Kao Piek Sen.
